Year 1964

The origin of the Green Bus

Kamron Thongkamkoon founded Thai Phatanakit Transport Co., Ltd. and began operating the Lampang–Chiang Rai route. The distinctive green wooden-bodied buses became widely known as the Green Bus.

Year 1979

Building a stronger operating foundation

Chaipattana Transport Chiang Mai Co., Ltd. was established to improve the structure and efficiency of transport operations.

Year 2002

A new standard of service

The company introduced modern 24-seat VIP coaches and began developing information systems for regional sales and transport operations.

Year 2004

Major investment in fleet and technology

Twenty new coaches were acquired and ERP and Transportation Operation System platforms were introduced for internal management, ticketing, scheduling and customer relations.

Year 2011

Green Bus connects north and south

The interregional Phuket–Chiang Mai route launched as the company's first connection between northern and southern Thailand.

Year 2013

Nationwide expansion through partnerships

The group expanded through the integration of Chok Rung Thavee Tour and a partnership with Piya Rung Rueng Tour, including the Mae Sai–Dan Nok route.

Year 2014

Passenger services move online

Green Bus introduced online ticketing through its mobile application and website, with additional payment options for customers.

Year 2023–2024

Development of the FairFair travel platform

FairFair was developed as an integrated digital platform for planning and booking travel and tourism services, launching in June 2024.

Year 2024

The next step for Green Capital

The organisation continued improving service, driver safety skills and environmental performance as it moved towards Net Zero and prepared for future growth.
